Only 6 including myself joined in the tournament, none-the-less, it was still lots of fun. 6 player FFA elimination, normal settings, small to medium maps, 5 minute time limit per game. Again, the host connection was flawless with most everyone at full bars. After each game the last player was out of the tournament but still played in the game. Until the last two were it dropped to a 1v1 on Rust.

Something I forgot to mention is you are still playing for most kills, assists and least deaths for the overall tournament. Even if your out the first round you can still win the rest and receive the medal for most kills or least deaths, earning you Kaos points. As always, the more Kaos points the lower the entry fee when CASH payout tournaments start (Date TBD.. Aprilish now).

Now starts the beginning of a new age in FPS

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has by far been one of the most popular games to ever hit the FPS scene. Its sequel Modern Warfare 2 is set to be the biggest game of the decade. If you are not planning on getting a copy as soon as you can… shame on you. Our first tournament will be December 1st, 2009 at 9pm EST. This tournament is a 16 player FFA giving away $70 and will have a LIVE feed visible on the website.  We will be updating the new Modern Warfare 2 maps into our tournament rules over the next week.

The comic miniseries tells of Ghost’s exploits before and up to the Modern Warfare 2 conflict. The first mission depicted in the series has him captured in a Ukrainian school that has been taken over by terrorists (who threaten to kill one child each hour if their demands are not met). He passes the time by telling a story of a mission in Mexico. The SAS loaned him to USSOCOM to bust a Heroin cartel that has recently begun smuggling terrorists into the U.S. At some point in time, he dons his iconic skull mask and moniker.
